By request of Paul Leinas, EMS Preparedness Coordinator for the Bureau of Emergency Medical Oversight, FAA is collecting information about the make, model, and quantity of portable radios that members use during deployments.

This information will allow the state to purchase adapters for each radio type to allow the state to coordinate with responding agencies over ReadyOps utilizing voice (VOIP) and radio (ROIP) over the internet.

As we are approaching hurricane season, we request that you provide this information by 5:00 pm ET on July 10.
