    From AIMHI:

Support Services such as logistics and fleet functions are the 'power behind the punch' of any high value EMS Organization. Fleet operations in particular require expert management and forward planning to ensure it is mission ready for today's operations and compliant with changes to vehicle safety and manufacturing specifications in the future.

Managing such complex task vehicles in any EMS system is both a professional and full time occupation. National Award Winning (EMS10) Director of Support Services at the Richmond Ambulance Authority, Dan Fellows and James Neitz, Manager - Supply & Logistics for Northwell Health, will lead this webinar and literally deliver the nuts and bolts of a high performing ambulance fleet.

Several ambulance services across the country recently received erroneous letters from CMS Supplemental Medical Review Contractor (SMRC), StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC. These letters suggest that the ambulance service has been selected for review.

Please note that StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC has confirmed that these letters were sent in error, and were intended only for physical therapy providers.

Letters informing impacted ambulance services of the mistake are set to be mailed November 16.
